Pate has recently joined the ACLU of Texas as the Dallas area volunteer coordinator where he focuses on community engagement in the DFW metroplex. He also serves as the conference program coordinator for the Black Trans Advocacy Coalition, which advances social equality for disenfranchised people with specific focus on inequities faced in the black and transgender human experience.
