Sullivan is a founding partner of the public affairs firm Firehouse Strategies. He has worked on over 100 campaigns, including more than two dozen statewide and presidential campaigns. Previously, he served as campaign manager for Marco Rubio’s 2016 presidential campaign. Sullivan has also served as an adjunct professor at George Washington Graduate School of Political Management.
