Nave joined Mississippi Today in 2016. He currently serves as editor of the publication and previously served as its news editor and editor-in-chief. Previously, he covered Barack Obama’s presidential campaign for the Illinois Times and served as news editor for the Jackson Free Press. Nave also serves as president of the Jackson Association of Black Journalists.
