Higginbotham serves on the governing board of Dallas Kids First, an organization focused on the impact of strong school board leadership for student outcomes, where she has led many trustee campaigns. In her work, she advocates for strong leadership at the governance level of Dallas ISD. Previously, Higginbotham served on the PTA in Dallas-area schools.
