McCord serves as senior litigator from practice at the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection as well as a visiting professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center. She served as principal deputy assistant attorney general for the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division from 2014 to 2016. McCord was also the acting assistant attorney general from 2016 to 2017.
