Peterson was named executive vice president and chief operating officer of Driscoll Children’s Hospital in 2018, after serving as president and chief executive officer of the Driscoll Health Plan since 2006. In her position, she oversees system-wide operations and the Driscoll Health Plan. Peterson began her career in 1984 as an anesthesiologist at and later worked in the pediatric intensive care unit.
