Gonzales, R-Round Rock, represented District 52 in the Texas House from 2011 to 2018. During his time in the Legislature, he served as chair of the Sunset Advisory Commission and twice served as a budget subcommittee chairman. He is the founder of Lazarus Graphics and Gonzales Realty Group. Gonzales is currently president of the firm Desk 138 LLC.
