Olson announced her campaign for Texas’ 24th Congressional District in March. Previously, she served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired at the rank of colonel. She also served as the CEO of Grace After Fire, an organization that helps women veterans upon their return home, and as director of human resources for Dallas ISD. Olson ran unsuccessfully for Texas agriculture commissioner in 2018.
