Seliger, R-Amarillo, has represented Senate District 31 since 2005. He sits on the Senate Health & Human Services, Nominations and Veteran Affairs & Border Security committees. Previously, Seliger served four terms as mayor of Amarillo and was a member of the Amarillo City Commission and the Amarillo Civil Service Commission. He also spent 35 years in the steel industry.
