Bucy, D-Austin, is currently serving his first term representing House District 136. He sits on the Culture, Recreation & Tourism and Elections committees. Previously, Bucy served as chair of the Williamson County Democratic Party and as a legislative liaison for the Texas Democratic County Chairs Association. He also founded an organization that gives 200,000 Texas public school students access to athletic, academic and arts events.
