Mckesson is a prominent activist with the Black Lives Matter movement and an outspoken voice against police violence. He began working against police violence during the 2014 protests in Ferguson, Missouri. In 2015, Mckesson co-founded Campaign Zero, a policy initiative aimed at ending police violence. He also hosts the podcast “Pod Save The People,” which focuses on current events related to justice, equity and identity.
