Balat is the director of the Right on Healthcare initiative at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. He has more than 20 years of leadership and management experience in the health care industry, and he serves as a health care adviser and counsels members of U.S. Congress and the Texas House. Balat is also the chair of Helping a Hero, a charity that builds houses for disabled veterans.
