Talev was recently announced as the new politics and White House editor at Axios, where she is tapped to lead the publication's 2020 coverage. Previously, she was a senior White House correspondent for Bloomberg. She is also a past president and a board member of the White House Correspondents' Association and a past president of the Washington Press Club Foundation. Talev has covered the Trump and Obama administrations and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.
