Dana Canedy

Administrator of the Pulitzer Prizes
Canedy was appointed administrator of the Pulitzer Prizes by the Pulitzer Prize Board in 2017. Previously, she worked in numerous positions at The New York Times, including as a special projects reporter and editor, and she was a lead journalist on “How Race Is Lived in America,” the series that won the 2001 Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting. Canedy has also worked at The Plain Dealer in Cleveland.
