Christian Clarke Casarez

Austin ISD
Special Assistant to Chief Business/Ops Officer
Austin, Texas, USA
For more than a decade, Christian has advised leadership teams on public affairs, strategic communications and community engagement—from promoting binational opportunities to ensure equity and excellence at the University of Texas at El Paso to expanding public affairs and the global reach of educational programs at the University of Texas at Austin.

Her career began at the center of health, education and community relations, promoting school-based clinics in the colonias, under-served neighborhoods on the U.S.-Mexico border. Since then, she worked with internationally renowned leaders and scholars to promote ground-breaking research and innovative programs in healthcare, business, engineering and the arts.

Today, she brings communities together to promote the people, programs and promise of public education in Austin.
