I work in the nonprofit social sector and I’ve seen the direct impact of both positive and dangerous political actions. The most effective change happens when the right people (the people directly impacted) are at the table. I believe there are a lot of good people wanting to do good work, but don’t have the tools and support to do it. I’m hoping to take a seat at the table and make sure there is an open one for the other people that need to be there.
